Massage Therapy
Swedish Massage Therapy is the most common and popular therapeutic massage and is performed by certified and registered massage therapists (RMT). Massage therapy is a clinically-oriented healthcare option that helps alleviate the discomfort associated with everyday occupational stresses, muscular over-use, and many chronic pain conditions. The massage therapist (RMT) will do a quick assessment, to determine the right type of massage therapy that is beneficial for you and as well as the amount of pressure needed to help ease your tension, sore muscle, or help you recover from an injury. Receiving massage on regular basis helps to reduce stress, decrease pain, muscle tension, increase relaxation, and improve immune function.

Hot Stone Massage
A hot stone massage is a massage therapy that uses heated, natural basalt stones on pressure points and as well on the muscles. The heat from the stones helps to warm up the muscles making it easier for your therapist to work deeper into the tissue and manipulate the muscles more. A hot stone massage is combined with traditional massage therapy techniques and the firmness and heat of the stones enhance the massage’s therapeutic benefits. This treatment is perfect for relieving pain in the body, increasing the state of relaxation, promoting better sleep, and providing longer-lasting results during the massage session.
Cupping Therapy
Cupping is very relaxing and generally not painful. It’s essentially a type of deep tissue massage that uses counter-pressure to work into the muscle and fascia to facilitate blood flow. The cups are incorporated into the massage treatment and are placed on the muscles and as well used with a gliding technique. The sensation that is experienced is a pulling of the skin as the cup is moved in a rolling fashion. Redness or a feeling of warmth is usually experienced after the release of the cup due to increased blood flow to the area. The benefits of using the cupping technique in massage sessions are to release scar tissue and fascial adhesions, reduce painful trigger points, improve circulation, and lymph circulation, relieve pain,
and promote mobility and range of motion.
